O'Brien House saves lives and families from alcoholism and drug abuse through residential treatment and community outreach.

O'Brien House was established in 1971 to serve adult recovering alcoholics and drug addicts. This halfway house is named after Paul S. "Pat" O'Brien, who spent 53 years of his life working with alcoholics and educating the public about the disease of alcoholism. O'Brien House has constantly expanded and today provides a comprehensive continuum of care that includes treatment, prevention and community development initiatives.

O'Brien House offers a comprehensive range of treatment programs focusing on three areas: Residential Treatment, Outpatient Treatment, Adult Education and Prevention Programs.

OUR SUPPORT AND BELIEF

We provide support services for clients as they transition from in-patient treatment to independent living. We believe that intermediate care services increase the effectiveness of treatment for substance abuse programs, and that the percentages of individuals remaining in recovery is increased by living in a structured and protected environment during the first six months of recovery.
