To provide treatment to adults and children suffering from an addiction to alcohol or other drugs, and to educate individuals, community agencies and health care professionals on issues related to the prevention and treatment of addictive diseases.

The Council:
* Provides inpatient, residential, halfway, outpatient, counseling, assessment and referral services.
* Responds to more than 8,000 calls/requests a year
* Conducts more than 10K drug screens for the 10 most commonly abused drugs
* Provides service regardless of financial situations
* Employs more than 100 staff members
* Serves more than 4,500 people a year who suffer or are affected by substance abuse
* Coordinates, manages, staffs, and offers 14 Programs for individuals recovering from Addictions in three main facilities, and two halfway houses
